For the Cummins 24 Valve Turbo Diesel engines (1998--2002), Cummins introduces new electronic devices that let you view critical engine data and diagnostic information from your engine's Electronic Control Module (ECM).

RoadRelay 4

Did you know that your electronic engine communicates and stores a slew of engine data? Want to know your fuel economy? How about boost pressure, coolant temperature, battery voltage?

With the RoadRelay 4 you can tap into your engine's computer to get this information plus a whole lot more, all from your driver's seat while you're motoring down the highway. Since 1991, Cummins RoadRelay has been the #1 selling driver display for 18 wheelers. Now RoadRelay 4 helps Dodge Ram owners see and track a variety of engine and vehicle information.

Diagnostics: If you encounter a problem on the road, RoadRelay 4 will display the fault code and tell you immediately what the problem is and what you need to do about it and automatically stores this information.
Service monitor: RoadRelay 4 reminds you when service items are due and saves up to 12 service event records.RoadRelay 4 is available as an aftermarket installation through the Cummins Distributors only.
Installation: RoadRelay 4 can be mounted on the floor, on or under the dash, and can be easily installed by the customer.

QuickCheck II

Also new for the Cummins 24-valve Turbo Diesels is QuickCheck II, Cummins diagnostic read-only application that runs on Palm™ devices, letting you view engine sensor and diagnostic information, similar to those devices used by diesel technicians, including boost pressure, oil pressure, fuel rate, percentage engine load, engine hours, output torque, intake manifold pressure, and much more.

If you own a 24-Valve Cummins Turbo Diesel (1998 or newer) Cummins QuickCheck II can make your life a lot easier. Cummins QuickCheck II snaps on the base of a Palm™ device and with cables included in the kit. QuickCheck II also allows you to save engine data to download into your personal computer later.

Installation is quick and easy. You can connect QuickCheck II under the hood in your Dodge Ram or you can run a cable through the firewall and mount it in the cab. This simple easy process takes less than ten minutes--truly a plug and play device!

QuickCheck II is compatible with the following Palm devices: Palm III, IIIe, IIIxe, VII and V (additional adapter required for the V). It will also operate with the Handera. Want more information? Click here to view the brochure.
